CNC Lathe Setup Operator - 2nd shift

CNC Lathe Setup Operator must have at least 5 years' experience setting up 2 to 5 axis CNC lathes including selecting and setting all tools required, proving out programs, troubleshooting production problems, completing first article paperwork and editing programs as needed.

Experience with 2 axis turning centers to 5 axis lathes with live tooling is desired.

Setup Operator must have experience in the use of basic measuring tools (dial calipers, ID, OD micrometers, bore gages, thread gages) as well as in use of comparators and vision systems used to check parts.

Be able to read and interpret blueprints and special customer requirements and complete internal First Article paperwork.

Be able to understand SPC requirements and fill out SPC charts.

Must be able to read and understand English to interpret blueprints, industry specifications and work order instructions.

A&R will provide training to enable the employee to move into Setup machinist position.
