Home Care RN or LPN (Huntington, NY) $35-45

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced nurse to provide in-home care. The ideal candidate should have close attention to detail as they will be responsible for checking vitals and administering medication, including syringe medication such as insulin.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and record vital signs (i.e. blood pressure, blood sugar)

Administer medications as prescribed, including injections

Provide basic patient care and support

Communicate effectively with patients and family members

- Beneficial, but not necessary, that you can do wound care (bed sores, post-skin graft tending)

Qualifications:

Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)

Experience with administering injections and other medications

Strong communication and close attention to detail

Reliable, compassionate, and organized

Beneficial, but not necessary, that you can do wound care (bed sores, post-skin graft tending)

Schedule

Days to be discussed; patient will need care during the day for short periods of time (6-7 am and 12-2 pm daily)

Compensation

$35-$45/hour
