Jobsite Tool Sales- (Pittsburgh Region)

Summary:

We are a leading supplier to all of Pittsburgh’s regional contractors. Your territory is Allegheny County. Your responsibility is to identify the sites the contractors are working, and follow up on quotes generated working with the sales manager to hit your agreed upon goals.

During your first year with CTS, you will go through an extensive training program to provide you with all of the tools you need to become a successful sales person in the construction industry. Training will require some overnight travel to attend company paid training at key tool manufacturer’s headquarters. You will be provided with additional in-house training to learn Construction Tool Service computer systems and customer service policies and procedures. You will be assigned to an account-based territory, with a defined list of existing customers. Local travel with CTS management and manufacturer’s representatives will help introduce you to your customer base and the manufacturer’s product offerings. After your first year, your compensation plan will include a commission component that will give you an opportunity to earn significant compensation based on your sales growth with your customers.

Duties:

Your role is to generate new opportunities and maintain existing clients.

You will network, make cold calls, and generate new business.

Must be a self-starter, ambitious, and hardworking. Confidence in communicating and engaging with people.

Requirements:

Can use our laptop and smartphone for directions, photos, email, order entry and call management

Pre-employment, background and driver record check required

High school diploma (or equivalent), advanced diploma a plus.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision

Desire to learn of the local construction market

Must be an excellent communicator, work closely with our staff at the branch
