O’o Farm is hiring!

We are seeking hardworking and dedicated individuals to join our team as a farmers and farmer/tour guide. As a farmer, you will be responsible for fulfilling daily farming operations, including planting, harvesting, weeding, irrigation, maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, desire to work outdoors.

Tour guides provide a unique professional experience for up to 30 guests sharing education, farm experiences and meal service. They are asked to lead walking tours through the fields of vegetables and orchards, they are expected to set up and bus all dining areas.

O’o Farm is a diverse farm located in upcountry Kula, dedicated to farming and agritourism. The farm consistently produces coffee, vegetables, fruit and flowers with over 100 different crops in rotation and is sustainably maintained and naturally cultivated with a no-till approach.

O’o Farm offers a true farm-to-table experience with two distinct tour experiences: A gourmet Breakfast and Coffee Tour and a Farm-to-Table Lunch, both of which introduce guests to small commercial farming, organic farming techniques, native Hawaiian plants, beneficial insects, and crop management methods, and how the farm team cares for the ʻaina sustainably.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain irrigation systems

Planting, weeding, harvesting, pruning

Ensure proper pest control

Operate and maintain farm equipment

Implement and maintain safety protocols

Requirements:

Proven experience as a farmer and knowledge of agriculture a plus

Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent physical stamina, job requires lifting, bending, walking

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work long hours and weekends, in hot and cold wet weather

Punctual, professional and reliable

Schedule: Mon-Fri. 7:30am - 3:30pm. Full time
