Job Summary:

Truecraft Drywall & Painting is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Interior Painter to join our growing team on a part-time basis. Reliable transportation is a must, as projects may require travel up to 20 miles from Boston. Working hours will vary Monday through Saturday, offering flexibility while delivering top-tier results to our clients.

Reporting to the team lead, you will paint and prepare various surfaces for our residential and light commercial projects, ensuring excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect surfaces to determine appropriate primers, paints, finishes, and tools.

Cover furniture, fixtures, and exposed surfaces to protect them during projects.

Prepare surfaces for painting (e.g., scraping, sanding, paint removal).

Repair minor surface damage such as cracks, dents, and holes using putty or plaster.

Mix paint to achieve desired colors and textures.

Apply paint, varnish, sealants, and stains as required.

Maintain a clean, tidy work area and follow workplace health and safety standards.

Load and unload tools and equipment as needed.

Work professionally with customers, address concerns courteously, and coordinate service.

Accurately log work hours and project details

May be required to move furniture

Qualifications:

Reliable transportation to travel to job sites within a 20-mile radius of Boston.

High school diploma or GED.

At least 2 years of professional painting experience (residential or commercial).

Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and surface preparation methods.

Ability to perform light repairs and work on different surfaces (e.g., walls, ceilings, cabinets).

Physically capable of standing, kneeling, lifting, and climbing ladders.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience using apps for scheduling or time tracking is a plus (training provided).

Multilingual skills are a bonus but not required.

Working Hours:

Part-time schedule.

Flexible hours between Monday and Saturday.

Specific working hours may vary depending on project needs.

Compensation:

$20–$25.50/hour, based on experience.

Opportunity for bonuses based on performance.
