Lead Host
Description
Avanti F&B, a high volume food collective with multiples bars, is coming to Vail and looking for a lead host with a great attitude and a desire to provide excellent customer service. Our ideal candidate will be available to work full time year round. They must also maintain a professional demeanor, and ability to communicate the concept of Avanti to guests. They must be a team player that can handle high volume for extended periods of time. We are looking for someone with high energy and drive that has the stamina to run full shifts with limited down time. Our hosts are committed to providing a great guest experience while maintaining a cheerful and polite approach toward both guests and fellow employees. Responsibilities
Oversee day to day host stand operations
Communicate the concept of Avanti to guests
Work large scale events [includes, but is not limited to, distribution of event materials including signage, menus & wristbands]
Maintains cleanliness and organization of host stand and entrance area(s).
Communicates with staff to set up and break down tables as customer requests are received.
Answer phone calls & assist with guest inquiries as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
Outstanding time management and organizational skills
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
Compensation
$23 hourly
