Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in highway construction projects; perform manual work in preparing equipment or vehicles for useConduct preventative maintenance as recommended on all equipmentMaintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazardsMaterial handling and storage and shop work as assignedSupport the daily maintenance of all vehicles (Maintain fluid levels, fuel level and tire pressure)Load and unload trucks; follow proper towing of trailer mounted equipmentDeliver material to jobsitesEnsure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
