Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Systems Engineer II (ESY II) to join our team supporting Department of Defense (DoD) projects. This position is contingent upon contract award and will focus on advancing tactical communication and C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system development, architecture, and lifecycle management.Key Responsibilities:
Support the full lifecycle of DoD programs/projects, including design, implementation, verification, production, and sustainment of tactical communication and C4ISR systems.
Design and execute tests, conduct laboratory analyses, and interpret scientific results to validate system performance.
Develop and refine system-of-systems architectures, integrating tactical communication and C4ISR systems for enhanced operability.
Contribute to the development and application of open architecture standards such as SOSA, CMOSS, OMS/UCI, and AMS.
Research and implement solutions involving Low Probability of Detection (LPD) and Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) waveforms and anti-jam capabilities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and reliable solutions aligned with DoD objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or a related field.
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or Top-Secret Eligible status.
Demonstrated experience supporting Top Secret-level projects.
Experience (Within the Past Seven Years):
3+ years of experience in DoD development and program/project lifecycle, including design, implementation, verification, production, and sustainment for tactical communication and C4ISR systems.
3+ years of experience designing tests, conducting laboratory and scientific analyses, and interpreting research results for tactical communication and C4ISR systems.
3+ years of experience with system-of-systems architecture for tactical communication and C4ISR systems.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience (Within the Past Ten Years):
5+ years of experience in DoD program/project lifecycle management for tactical communication and C4ISR systems.
5+ years of experience designing tests, laboratory analyses, and scientific research for tactical communication and C4ISR systems.
5+ years of experience in system-of-systems architecture for tactical communication and C4ISR systems.
5+ years of experience with open architecture standards, such as SOSA, CMOSS, OMS/UCI, and AMS.
5+ years of experience with LPD and LPI waveforms and anti-jam technologies for tactical communication systems.
