Safety Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Safety Manager to join our team in Phoenix, United States. As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all employees and contractors.Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to establish a culture of safety within the organizationDesign and implement effective safety programs, safety plans, and job hazard analyses (JHAs)Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measuresLead safety meetings and training sessions to educate employees on safety practices and OSHA regulationsInvestigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, providing detailed reports and implementing corrective actionsCollaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure compliance with safety standards across all construction projectsMonitor and evaluate the performance of subcontractors and contractors regarding safety practicesMaintain accurate records of safety activities, inspections, and correspondenceStay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practicesServe as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during safety inspections or audits
