Summary: This role is an exciting opportunity to travel the world and assist in the installation of state-of-the-art LED CX-Displays and Cosm projection screens for planetarium, digital theater, simulation, and architectural applications, both domestic and overseas. The former company, Spitz, Inc. is internationally known as a pioneer in the planetarium and custom curved projection screen industry. We provide design and structural engineering expertise, custom domes, and spherical structure manufacturing. Cosm is the world’s largest supplier of dome screens and complete planetarium display systems, with over 2,000 plus projection dome installations worldwide. Travel arrangements, food per diem and accommodation(s) provided by Cosm.

Responsibilities:

Assist in loading and unloading of delivery vehicles at the job site.

Assist in frame assembly as directed by the Installation Supervisor.

Assist in panel installation as directed by the Installation Supervisor.

Performs other associated job-site duties as assigned by the installation Supervisor.

Experience:

High school diploma or a GED equivalent

Driver’s license

Ability to comprehend blueprints and work specifications.

Use of power and hand tools

Use of OSHA approved PPE

Attention to detail.

Can pass an FBI and State(s) background check A/R for public schools.

Passport preferred.

OSHA 30 Certification – issued within past 5 years preferred.

Forklift Class I to VII – issued within the past 5 years preferred.

OSHA Scaffold Safety Certification – Issued within the past 5 years preferred.

OSHA Aerial lift Safety Certification – Issued within the past 5 years preferred.

Working Conditions

Construction Job Site environment.

Employees may be on their feet several (8-10) hours per day.

Climbing scaffolding towers and or decks several times per day.

Working in environments which are not climate controlled.

Heavy work: 51 – 100lbs (Occasionally): 26 – 50lbs (Frequently)

Travel required 50% plus (travel, accommodations, food per diem provided)
