We respond to our client’s issues by bringing together highly skilled professionals across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Transaction Advisory services. This integrated approach facilitates multidimensional support and flexibility to meet our clients changing needs. Are you ready to join our team and help build a better working world?Your key responsibilitiesWe’ll look to you to interact directly with the customer, stakeholders, and subject matter resources to coordinate, validate and socialize in one or more areas of technology strategy and transformation. Responsibilities may include:
Work in collaborative environment with various project teams to support the mission federal government with development, deployment, and operations of innovative processes and technologies
Apply subject matter expertise on multiple complex work assignments which are broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve IT systems
Analyze strategic plans, mission objectives, user requirements, procedures, and challenges to automate or improve existing systems
Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting long-term project growth and success
Provide SME for the development of RFI/RFP/RFQ and support evaluation of responses from industry
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
Develops communications materials, client presentations, management summaries, project plans and other materials as needed by the client for the planning, development, deployment, and operations of technologies

Strong leadership skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
Stakeholder management, data modelling and knowledge of IT
Ability to analyze large amounts of data and other business processes to form ideas and fix problems
Ability to communicate ideas in an expressive way that is easy for the receiver to understand
Experience coming up with solutions to an organization’s problems
Ability to research new processes and software to present results that are effective
Ability to establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships
Ability to create innovative insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership
Anticipate and identify risks, and escalate any issues as appropriate
Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff; help create a positive learning culture
Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor’s degree
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance or higher, which will be driven by the engagement requirements
10+ years’ relevant federal government experience, preferably with DHS or one of its components
Experience and subject matter expertise showcasing breadth and depth in multiple domains of work including business transformation, performance management, emerging technologies, innovation, travel, trade, biometrics, information systems, and technology platforms
Experience creating and executing project plans on complex engagements from analysis through implementation, preferably as a work stream lead supervising junior staff
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and support multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation
Well-organized with a detail-oriented mindset and a track-record of producing high-quality deliverables on time
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Due to the nature of our work in the Government and Public Sector, work may be required to be completed at client, EY and/or contractor sites. Our goal is to assign professionals to projects within a commutable distance of their work location office. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $127,100 to $233,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $152,500 to $264,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
