Penn State Health - Penn State Health CorporationLocation: US:PA: HersheyWork Type: Full TimeFTE: 1.00Shift: DayHours: 8:00a - 5:00pHybrid Role- In office requirementSUMMARY OF POSITION:Responsible for the development, configuration, implementation, and on-going support of the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other supporting IT systems for Penn State Health systems. This role involves working closely with clinical, operational, financial services, and administrative staff to optimize the use of the Epic system, ensuring it meets the needs of the healthcare organization and supports the delivery of high-quality patient care.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
Two (2) years ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency training including PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency and a PGY-2 specialty residency in pharmacy informatics; OR one (1) year of ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency training including (PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency) plus three (3) years of relevant pharmacy practice experience (including pharmacy informatics); or six (6) years of relevant pharmacy practice experience (including pharmacy informatics).
Pennsylvania registration in Pharmacy or eligibility required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Knowledge of oncology care and treatment workflows preferred. Previous experience in Pharmacy Informatics preferred. Experience with build and maintenance of EMR Oncology treatment plans and chemotherapy regimens preferred.
Epic certification preferred. If not certified, must complete Epic certification as assigned in related application within 6 weeks after last training class.
