Position Overview: The Reservations Manager will manage all aspects of the reservation process, including marketing and communications, and update menus and settings within the OpenTable, Sevenrooms, and Resy platforms. The role requires coordination with the front-of-house team and constant analysis to help maintain optimal seating arrangements. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. Key Responsibilities: Manage Reservations: Oversee all incoming reservations via phone, email, and online platforms. Leverage OpenTable, SevenRooms, and Resy technologies to manage and optimize the reservation system. Maintain an accurate reservation system, updating guest information and preferences. Coordinate with the host team to manage seating plans and optimize table turnover. Guest Relations: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, handling special requests and inquiries. Resolve any reservation-related issues or conflicts promptly and professionally. Develop and maintain relationships with regular patrons and VIP guests. Team Leadership: Train and supervise reservation staff, ensuring adherence to company policies. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and document scripts for reservation processes. Schedule staff shifts to ensure coverage during peak hours and special events. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates and gather feedback. Operational Coordination: Collaborate with the management and event planning teams for private bookings and events. Monitor reservation trends and provide reports to management for planning purposes. Implement strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue. System Management: Utilize and maintain proficiency with reservation software such as OpenTable, SevenRooms, and Resy. Leverage these technologies to enhance efficiency and guest experience. Ensure data integrity within the reservation systems. Stay updated on new features or updates to the reservation platforms. Develop SOPs and training materials for staff on reservation system usage. Qualifications: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant or hospitality environment. Proficiency with OpenTable, SevenRooms, and Resy technologies. Experience in developing SOPs and documenting scripts. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Leadership abilities with experience in team management. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
