Pay & Benefits:

- $35-45 to start. Base Pay of $14/hr + Tips of $21-$31/hr

- PTO: Accrue up to 40 hours during years 1 and 2, 80 hours after year 3 and 120 hours after year 4.

Essential Functions:

As a Dining Room Server, you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the restaurant's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

- Ensure extensive knowledge of food, menu and restaurant promotions and specials

- Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system

- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner

- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service

- Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations

- Side work duties; upkeep of the restaurant

- Additional duties as necessary and assigned.

Job Requirements:

- Passion for food, wine, beverage and our restaurant concept

- Extensive knowledge of local products such as produce and seafood, farms, and farmers

- Ability to present and converse the menu, restaurant concept, and memorize daily specials in an eloquent manor as well as delivering the highest standards of service in a busy and fast paced environment while demonstrating compassion and creating exceptional customer relations

- Basic knowledge of common food allergies such as celiac

- Extensive knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beverage including grape varietals, wine regions of the world, and wine and food paring

- Total commitment to our Vision Statement, “Being the Greatest Guest Experience in the World”

- Ability to effectively use the reservation system by recognizing, using guest names, and handling all special requests

- Learn and memorize all table numbers and seat positions

- Minimum of 1-year experience as a server in a full-service restaurant

- Must maintain a professional and positive demeanor in all situations with high character standards with the ability to resolve guest complaints

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to continuously walk and or stand, move up and down multiple flights of stairs and transport items (such as glassware, and dishes, beverages) weighing up to 40 lbs. continuously, and also lift items above the shoulders throughout the duration of a possible 8-hour shift on a regular basis

- Able to work in all inclement weather such as in the sun, wind and or rain

- Willingness to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available)
