Technical Director

The Technical Director will be responsible for video source switching of live or recorded fast paced news, entertainment, talk and sports programs, daily pre-production sessions, special programs, and remotes as assigned.Job DutiesActs as the crew chief for all in-house and remote productionsResponsible for crew check in at the beginning of each shift and relaying concerns to the Show Director and/or Control Room Operations.Coordinates detailed fax check of production control room, audio, graphics, playback rooms, and studio with the technical crew by checking and ensuring that all video/audio sources, communications, and studio monitor routing are operational and ready for airIn collaboration with the Manager, Control Room Ops, maintains the control rooms updated with the latest production elements.Works under the direct supervision of Manager, Control Room Operations and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by Manager or Supervisor as needed
