Office Assistant
Modern Furniture Manufacturing Company is looking for a full time office assistant to help with several tasks in a fast paced busy office.
Office employee needed
We are a manufacturer seeking an Office employee with experience in:
- Using general office programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe PDF, etc.
- General office tasks like handling shipping & receiving, answering phones, scanning & copying, etc.
Our company’s emphasis is fabrication, delivery, and installation of commercial millwork that includes mica cabinetry and solid surface. All of our work is quoted, contracted, and schedule driven. We have been in business for over 15 years and always have work to do.
Our candidate should have a strong worth ethic and the ability to effectively and efficiently manage their time while having multiple priorities. We are a highly collaborative and fast pace environment; working well within a team is a must. A positive attitude, ability to take direction, and flexibility are also necessary qualities. Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus. Must be computer literate and have a sense of business-oriented communication skills.
Job functions will include, but are not limited to:
- Typing proposals to be sent to customers
- Following up on proposal statuses
- Sending & receiving shipments via FedEx/UPS/Amazon etc. (Must be able to handle moderately heavy packages)
- General office duties – answering phones, filing, scanning, copying, etc.
- Purchasing
This is a FULL-TIME position, with vacation, holidays, and bonuses.
