Teacher for Homeschooling Help Program
Teacher is responsible for teaching fundamental subjects to children in grades K-5.
Teacher should be able to manage classroom, communicate and teach one or more
subjects clearly and effectively and follow school procedures. They are
responsible for monitoring each student’s progress and providing extra mentorship
to those who need it.
Job duties include:
Teaching:Creating and implementing lesson plans to teach subjects such as:
Reading, writing, Math, science and social studies
Classroom management:Enforcing classroom rules and overseeing students
during activities i.e.: lunch and recess. Always maintain a clean and safe environment for the children.
Student progress:Observing and evaluating students; abilities, strengths, and
weaknesses, and providing feedback
Communication:Communicating with parents about their children's progress
Student needs:Identifying student needs and working with other staff to help
students
Professional development:Participating in professional development activities
Technology:Utilizing technology to enhance learning and teaching
Student records:Maintaining student records, including attendance and grades.
Hours Available Tuesday through Friday 8:30am - 1:00pm
