Accounting Manager
Description We are offering a contract opportunity for a client in Newberg, OR. The role requires an experienced Accounting Manager who is capable of handling various responsibilities related to accounting management, internal controls, data validation, and auditing. Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation of Form 1099s in January to ensure business continuity during the AP Manager's absence. Collaborate with the purchasing and quality control departments to strengthen internal control mechanisms. Conduct rigorous evaluations of vendors involved in product manufacturing to comply with the medical device provider audit requirements. Lead audit preparation projects, ensuring all financial documentation is in order and accessible. Oversee the data validation process for the ERP upgrade, with a focus on fixed assets. Identify and manage aged inventory to maintain efficient stock levels. Handle projects related to internal controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Implement and manage a new ERP system to streamline accounting operations. Ensure the accurate processing and maintenance of customer credit applications and recordsRequirements Strong understanding of internal control processes and procedures Ability to perform data validation with efficiency and accuracy Familiarity with D365 software for accounting functions Extensive knowledge and experience in handling Form 1099 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
