Employment Attorney
Description A mid-size law firm in Seattle is looking to add another Employment Attorney to their team. This role primarily focuses on Labor and Employment Law and provides the opportunity to work independently with clients and other attorneys. Firm has won numerous awards for Best Places to Work!Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day client counseling on various labor and employment issues such as hiring, employment agreements, shareholder agreements, and terminations. Navigate legal matters related to non-compete agreements. Provide guidance on wage and hour laws, FMLA, and discrimination in the workplace. Address issues related to harassment, retaliation, COBRA, and HIPAA. Develop and review personnel policies and handbooks. Conduct thorough workplace investigations. Handle matters related to Shareholder Agreements and Non-Compete Agreements. Comply with the Age Discrimination Employment Act and Disability Discrimination laws. Manage cases related to Discrimination - EEOC, Discrimination Laws, and Discrimination Protections.
