Full Time Optician position

We are seeking a licensed or an apprentice optician for a full time position! We're a small private vision clinic and looking for a new member to join our team and run the optical side!

Responsibilities:

Frame and lens selection with patients

Dispensing

Maintaining frame boards

Meeting with frame vendors

Ordering frames

Frame inventory

Ordering jobs with optical lab

Keeping optical area clean and tidy

Being a small office, at times the optician will also answer phones and assist other office staff to ensure patient flow runs smoothly.

Qualifications:

Licensed or Apprentice optician.

Experience in either private practice vision clinic, or national chain optical.

Ability to troubleshoot glasses complaints, or non-adapt cases.

Wide breadth of knowledge of optical products.
