Facility Maintenance Technician (Hilo)

SUMMARY

Under general supervision, performs routine semi-skilled maintenance for Dealership facilities; ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical trades work. Operates a variety of maintenance and cleaning tools and equipment and performs related work as required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Performs routine semi-skilled maintenance for Dealership facilities, including, but not limited to, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical trades work. Ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.

Assembles, repairs, maintains and moves furniture, such as desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings and fixtures.

Conducts routine inspections and maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment; replaces filters; identifies and reports more complex maintenance needs to

Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to supervisor.

Follows safe working practices and appropriately uses related safety equipment as

Assists with structural pest control

Monitors inventory, orders supplies, and maintains purchase records within the authorized

Maintains records and logs of daily

Performs related duties as

Maintains company shop

Completes assignments dispatched through the request

Completes all facility ground maintenance as requested, including Poisoning, trimming, and Yard

Keeps abreast of all KPA requirements and works with department leaders to resolve any outstanding items to meet safety standards.

Works with Vendors or contractors, coordinating repairs, estimates, or quotes that are outside the scope of Facility Maintenance.

Must have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable Driver’s Abstract.
