Position Summary:
We are seeking a part-time Sales Associate to focus on engaging with clients, driving sales, and representing our gallery with professionalism and enthusiasm. This role will involve spending much of your time in our charming carriageway—a partially open-air space that provides a unique ambiance but experiences seasonal temperature changes, from cooler winter days to warmer summer afternoons. Key Responsibilities:
Sales: Actively engage with gallery visitors, provide information about the artwork, and close sales.
Client Relations: Build relationships with clients, ensuring they have an exceptional gallery experience.
Visitor Engagement: Answer questions, share insights about the artist and artworks, and create a welcoming environment for all guests.
Light Maintenance: Keep the carriageway and surrounding gallery areas tidy and presentable.
Qualifications:
Previous retail or sales experience, ideally in a gallery, boutique, or similar setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Passion for art and the ability to share that enthusiasm with clients.
Ability to work in an open-air environment and adapt to varying temperatures.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends or holidays as needed.
