FilterShine is looking for hood cleaners who are ready for a job change.

Walk up and down stairs and on uneven surfaces and lift 50 pounds

Work in tight spaces, and raise your hands above your head

Be available to work an occasional early shift - 3 AM - 11 AM

A Social Security Card, clean Driver's License record, and reliable transportation

Basic Computer Skills

The ability to work alone as part of a team and be a self-starter

Service Specialist Position Duties. You will be part of our customer service team working with local area restaurants - primarily with their kitchen hood filters. You will work hand in hand with our delivery team using our service software (Service Trade) to build schedules, complete job paperwork, send invoices, and create and send service quotes.

Additionally, you will handle various office/warehouse duties, conduct repairs for the quotes you create (mainly on rooftops), conduct local marketing campaigns, and occasionally back up our route drivers (for their PTO purposes). Both asterisked items are paid as bonuses.

Training: FilterShine Charlotte provides multiple services to our commercial kitchen customers, and we’ll train you to do all of them. This will open up numerous job opportunities within FilterShine Charlotte going forward and nationwide if you choose to move to another FilterShine office in the USA.

Our training will include (but is not limited to) Spot Welding, Riveting, Operating a Boom Lift, Pressure Washing, Small Engine Repairs, Computer Software Training, Safety Training, Electrical Motor Installation, Electrical Wiring, Exhaust Fan Repairs, Return Air Unit Repair, Environmental Training, Vehicle Maintenance, Marketing Training, Fire Extinguisher Repair, Emergency Light Installation and Repairs, and Fire Suppression Training.

Bonus Program—Filters: After initial training, our successful candidate will be eligible for a $1000/month bonus by signing up five new customers monthly. This will be accomplished by handing out literature to the restaurant kitchens next to our existing customers where you will already be working. There is no need for sales experience or high-pressure tactics—just hand out our full-color flyers and explain what we do.

Bonus Program—Repairs: When you complete the repairs that you quoted, you will receive a bonus for the work. Our considerable bonuses are paid twice yearly: on the last workday before the July 4th weekend and on the first paycheck in December, just in time for a summer holiday and Christmas presents!
