Description Syndicated FX Loan AdministratorThe Syndicated FX Loan Administrator (SLFXA) is responsible for the day-to-day activity of syndicated loans where Huntington National Bank is the administrative agent. They will have a dedicated portfolio of syndicated deals and work directly with external customers, bank participants and internal partners such as Commercial Loan Services (CLS) and FX Operations and FX Sales.Position Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily administration of a syndicated loans where Huntington National Bank is the admin agent including advance requests, paydowns and rate options with borrower.
Review loan documentation to ensure proper terms, rates, amounts and other principal aspects of the loan are correct.
Work directly with the Borrower and RM’s to handle any questions or problems which arise such as break-fundings, over-formula issues, multi-currency calculations, swaps etc.
Interface with, RM’s, borrowers, attorneys, CLS (servicing, boarding, loan closers) and participant banks to successfully close and fund transactions following the parameters of the credit agreement.
Create and maintain spreadsheet files for each borrower to confirm accuracy of interest, balance, commitments and fee accruals to AFS.
Ensure unused fees are computed correctly by monitoring loan sweeps.
Work with Commercial Loan Services, Foreign Exchange Operations, and the Foreign Exchange Sales area.
On a monthly and quarterly basis, interface with borrowers, RM’s and participant banks to ensure all principal, interest, and fees have been correctly calculated and loaded on the ACBS system. Prepare billings for borrowers and notifications for participants outlining payments of principal, interest and fees for the period. Track and report fee collections monthly for internal reporting purposes.
Address problem inquiries from loan groups, RM’s and participant banks, and borrowers on a timely basis.
Evaluates circumstances requiring exceptions and engages senior management for resolution where required.
Develops and maintains an understanding of the regulatory requirements and risks inherent in the operations to ensure appropriate actions are taken and operational integrity is maintained.
Participates/leads process/system continuous improvement initiatives.
Work in a team environment with deadline-oriented tasks.
Technical Skills Required:Data Analysis – Spreadsheets, Mathematical AbilityForeign Exchange – proficiency in cash movements, pricing and Foreign LoansThis is a hybrid role. You must be located near a corporate office in Columbus, Cleveland, Minnetonka, Detroit, Cincinnati, or Pittsburgh.Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Knowledge and understanding of syndicated FX Loans. The business unit’s key products and services, processes and controls .
Knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of FX Syndicated Loans
4 or more years of experience in banking/financial services specifically Foreign Exchange Loans
4 years of experience in utilizing Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, MS Access and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.
Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert
Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth / Expert.
