Experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper for Small Business
We are a small business (S-corp) seeking an experienced part-time bookkeeper to manage day-to-day transactions for both our business accounts and property management accounts (8 properties). We are looking for someone with a strong aptitude for bookkeeping who can help us stay organized and ensure we maximize our deductions for tax purposes.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily transactions for both business and property management accounts
Categorize expenses and maintain up-to-date financial records, including 1099 preparation
Ensure all financial records are accurate and compliant with tax laws and regulations
Collaborate with our accountant to provide necessary documentation for tax preparation
Generate regular financial reports and insights to support informed business decisions
Qualifications:
2–3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with small businesses
Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
Experience managing finances for multiple properties is a plus
