IN-HOME CAREGIVER OPPORTUNITY

Are you a compassionate caregiver looking for a meaningful, one-on-one role in a warm and supportive environment? We’re seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide personalized care for a kind and spirited 40-year-old male living in the Kenny Neighborhood of Minneapolis, conveniently located near major bus routes.

About the Role

This individual requires assistance with daily living due to medical, physical, and intellectual challenges but enjoys getting out for activities and social engagement.

As a caregiver, you’ll:

- Assist with personal care (e.g., bathroom care, changing briefs).

- Perform light housekeeping tasks.

- Provide transportation using a wheelchair-accessible van (provided).

- Accompany him to appointments, social events, and fun outings across the Twin Cities (movie tickets, Lynx games, and

more covered by the employer).

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Caring and patient: You genuinely enjoy caregiving and companionship.

- Dependable and trustworthy: Punctuality and reliability are essential.

- Empathetic and adaptable: Kindness, flexibility, and a willingness to learn are key.

- Independent and proactive: You can follow instructions but also create meaningful activities with minimal guidance.

- Physically capable: Able to transfer a 200-lb person who pivot transfers or will use a Sara Steady.

- Experienced or eager to learn: Prior experience with brain injuries and seizures is a plus, but we’re happy to train the

right person.

Requirements

- Must pass a background check.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and reliable transportation.

- Strong communication skills and attention to detail (e.g., administering medications accurately).

Schedule

24–36 hours per week, with some flexibility in days and hours.

Weekend availability is a plus.
