CBRF shift leader and medication manager

Looking for caring, compassionate and responsible Caregivers and CNA’s to help lead our team of excellence. The ideal candidate will have a take charge attitude to lead their shift and make sure the team is working their assignments and following state regulations. Experience as a team leader or manager is preferred, but not required.

We are a 42 bed assisted living community. We care for the frail elderly, and elderly with dementia/Alzheimer’s disease. We assist Residents daily that need minimal supervision to total care/supervision. Some Residents need an assist of 1 or may require a hoyer lift or sit to stand for safe transfers. We accommodate and work hand in hand with hospice services and PT/OT/ST. Remember- we work in their home, they don’t live in our workplace!

Job duties include (but not limited to:)

-Pass medications, manage medication orders, keep medication cart organized

-Chart medications and cares appropriately and timely

-Toileting and changing residents per ISP

-Showers and bathing residents on scheduled days

-Maintain cleanliness of resident’s room and common areas

-Assist residents with meals and feed those that may need assistance

-Assist manager with various tasks (scheduling, appointments, etc.)

-Assist with answering the phones, answering the door bell, assisting with case workers, etc.

Requirements:

-Must be on time

-Have reliable transportation

-Have a positive attitude and can work as a TEAMPLAYER

-Great communication skills

-Able to take direction and instructions

-Must be able to pass a background check

-Highly encourage all CBRF certifications (fire safety, medication administration, first aid and choking, and standard precautions)
