Fleet Maintenance Mechanic

The Pinecrest Permittees Association has a full-time permanent position for a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic / firefighter. The PPA operates a corporative fire station in conjunction with the Tuolumne County Fire Department. Candidates are required to participate Tuolumne County Fire Department volunteer firefighting program.

Job Duties:

Primary responsibility to maintain and repair Equipment loaders, motor-graders large snowblowers fleet trucks and other construction equipment. Keep detailed maintenance records. Respond to water supply and sewer emergencies. Be available on Sand-By for fire and medical emergencies Additional duties can include the operation and maintenance of the water treatment plant and water distribution system. Other duties may include collection of household home-owner garbage on selected collection days, fuels reduction and wildfire mitigation.

Qualifications;

Valid driver’s license with clean driving history, high school diploma/GED. Prior experience in wastewater collections, water treatment and distribution will be considered. Knowledge and experience in construction, welding and electrical systems is a plus.

Pay And Benefits;

Pay scale ranges from $22.00 per hour to $29.00 per hour depending on experience and certifications. Employee Housing provided 3Br 1 Ba 1100 Square ft home. Highly competitive 401K contribution. Family Medical and dental plan. 12 paid holidays, 20 paid vacation days, paid stand-by days
