Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers and ensuring excellent customer service. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to navigate routes effectively. Delivery days are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Duties:

- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, 14-26 ft box truck, to transport goods to designated locations

- Load and unload items from the vehicle in a timely manner

- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher

- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documents

- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role

- Familiarity with local roads and routes

- Commercial driving experience is preferred

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong customer service skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items as needed

- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
