Strategic Buyer- Indirect Purchasing (Logistics) - Hybrid

We are currently looking for a Strategic Buyer to be part of our global team. Based in Burnsville, MN, you will be responsible for providing strategic support towards the regional Indirect purchasing teams to ensure strategy consistency. In this role, you will:Be the Strategic Buyer for Logistic Services and other Indirect categoriesBe responsible for the analysis of the category as well as the development, definition and implementation of the material field strategy in cooperation with the relevant internal business partners.Have responsibility in your category over the commercial aspects of supplier management such as preparing and conducting tenders, price negotiations and negotiating contracts with suppliers.Ensure global coordination with the Indirect Purchasing global team working with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional team to optimize the logistics procurement process and deliver value.Position may require early morning or late night meetings with global development teams
