We invite you to start your career journey with us and look forward to hearing from you.Job SummaryThis position will lead the Dining department's efforts that relate to campus marketing programs that include informational, educational, and social events; creation, editing, proofing, and publishing electronic and print media collateral; maintaining a social media presence; creating a comprehensive marketing plan; and crafting, collecting and analyzing the metrics related to marketing strategies. The position works directly with students, faculty and staff, parents, and other university constituencies.Key Responsibilities :Assists in all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities across all dining locations on campusBuilds print and digital collateral for newsletters, posters, and programming announcementsCoordinates and plans on-site programming and eventsOwns all digital and social media planning, including bringing together content, developing copy, and scheduling posts on all social media platforms, as well as updating the websiteConducts marketing audits, including Boost app menu, promotions / specials audits, mobile orderingPerforms administrative tasks including, ordering, picking up, and delivering promotional signage to on-campus dining locations, as well as handling signage needs; and ordering merchandisingParticipate in the meetings of key dining constituencies including but not limited to off-campus students, graduates, faculty, staff, and residential student committeesResponsible for assisting in encouraging a positive and supportive partnership with the dining services team, client contact and other university departmentsPreferred Qualifications :1-3 years marketing experienceExcellent communication skills, written and verbalKnowledge of social media platformsPrevious experience with video content creation preferredProven abilities in the creation and design of collateral using software such as Adobe Suite, Dream Weaver or industry equivalentsOrganized and meticulousAbility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCustomer service experience / knowledge
