Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager is responsible for inspecting and servicing vehicles in a quick and thorough manner for our customers, creating a superior environment through friendliness and professionalism. This position will adhere to and promote the Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers mission while operating within the confines of our company’s core values. All Assistant Managers will contribute to team success under the guidance and direction of the Store Manager. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESComplete work accurately and quickly allowing customers to remain in their vehiclesPerform courtesies for every customer (cleaning the windshield, lubricating door hinges)Perform multi-point inspectionInspect vehicles for additional repairs neededAdvise Service Consultant and/or VSI for additional mechanical service workInspect fluid levels of power steering reservoir and transmissionInspect belts, hoses, and wiper bladesCheck air pressure of tiresMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaMust be able to perform all duties described in the SOS bookOversees and manages all store operations when the Store Manager is absentMust be able to do inventory and complete stock ordersMust be able to open and close the store
