Your Role as Lead Carpenter:

As a Lead Carpenter at NU-YAR Construction, you’ll be the driving force behind the execution of high-profile residential projects. This role offers leadership opportunities, project ownership, and a chance to work with a talented, motivated crew.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Take charge of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

Crew Supervision: Lead, mentor, and motivate carpenters, apprentices, and laborers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Planning & Execution: Read blueprints, manage schedules, allocate resources, and make key decisions to keep projects on track.

Quality Control: Ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and compliance with building codes and regulations.

Owner Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication with company owners, providing regular updates on project progress and challenges. Problem Solving: Proactively address challenges, making sure that projects stay on schedule and within budget.

What We’re Looking For:

-5-10 years of carpentry experience with a solid background in construction management.

-Proven leadership abilities with the ability to train, motivate, and lead a diverse crew.

-Excellent communication and organizational skills.

-OSHA and RRP certifications (or willingness to obtain).

-Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to top-notch craftsmanship.

-A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

-Ability to lift 100 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Compensation & Benefits:

-Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $80,000, based on experience and leadership abilities.
