Health Information Supervisor
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Health Information Management Supervisor in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is situated within the healthcare industry and is primarily onsite with occasional travel to other locations. The Heath Information Management Supervisor will oversee a team and manage various administrative tasks related to medical records.Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical records department across multiple hospitals. Supervise a team of 18-22 members, ensuring smooth operations and handling basic supervisor responsibilities. Manage incoming medical records, including intake, preparation, scanning, indexing, and storage. Upload and maintain patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Handle scheduling and organization of Paid Time Off (PTO) for the team. Address and resolve any issues within the team, providing coaching and guidance as needed. Regularly update leadership on team performance and any challenges. Use various computer programs to perform administrative tasks and answer inbound calls.
