The new SCA Health represents who we are today and where we are going—and the growing career opportunities for YOU.ResponsibilitiesMaplewood Surgery Center has 5 multispecialty ORs, 22 Pre/Post rooms, a 6-bed PACU, and a sterile processing department. Our specialties performed are largely urology, general, ENT, GYN and GI surgeries. This center includes a fun and positive environment, a highly dedicated and engaged team, excellent surgeons, and a beautiful work setting. Maplewood Surgery Center also holds excellent patient satisfaction scores. Hourly rate is primarily based on years of experience as a nurse and your expertise. We are actively hiring for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Responsibilities:
Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
Perform all other duties as assigned .
QualificationsCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) Requirements:
High School Gra duate or equivalent .
Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Techn ologist Program .
Prior Experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred .
Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
