We approach each person as an expert on his, her or their own life and identity with a clear and attentive inquiry into what is important to, as well as important for, that one person (whether coworker or person-served, family member or other stakeholder).Our flexible culture allows our professionals to live a balanced lifestyle between their work responsibilities and personal commitments.Are you ready to learn more?What will I do?Provide administrative support to members of the Outreach and Community Engagement team including but not limited to assistance with filing, maintaining records and online document management, and meeting set up / clean up support.Coordinate translation of agency documents as needed.Coordinate interpreters for Agency activities as needed.Assist in the documentation of Language Access and Cultural Competency Plan activities, progress, plan submissions, approvals, and funding expenditures.Support scheduling for Outreach and Community Engagement activities as needed.Provide administrative support to related meetings such as photocopying, agenda creation, email distribution, scheduling virtual meetings, etc.Send out approved messaging through social media platforms, constant contact, and email.Coordinate website posting of approved messages and content.Act as a liaison between Director of Community Services and / or Manager of Outreach and Community Engagement and Agency stakeholders in scheduling and information gathering as needed.Assist with researching potential new service providers and Community Based Organizations, including but not limited to translation and interpreter companies.Assist in identification of securing community spaces for outreach activities.Assist in gathering materials and supplies for outreach events as needed.Cover self determination plan email responsibilities during staff time off.Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Community Services, including but not limited to scheduling, filing, online document management, assistance with scheduling and expense tracking for travel, and project tracking.Participate in rotating front desk coverage for receptionist.Cover urgent Community Services Administrative Assistant responsibilities when needed.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.RequirementsExperience with underserved populations desiredExperience in managing tasks or small projects independentlyAbility to manage group list, multi-calendar managementAbility to create tables, mail merges, form creation, pivot tables, look ups and graphingAbility to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear concise mannerAbility to work with confidential material in a professional mannerCompetenciesGood communication skillsGood interpersonal skillsCollaboration / Team playerCustomer service orientedExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to multi-task with competing prioritiesWell developed organizational skillsAdvanced familiarity with MS Word®, MS Excel®, MS PowerPoint®, MS Outlook® or similar software applications.EducationAssociate degree preferredMinimum two years’ experience workingSpanish and / or Cantonese speaking strongly preferredPhysical RequirementsSitting, standing for long periods.Frequently walking, reaching with arms and hands, talking, hearing, feeling / touching, close up, peripheral, depth and ability to focus.Occasionally balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling and crouching.Access to reliable transportation permitting travelBenefitsWhat are the benefits to working with GGRC?We offer a comprehensive benefits package including Medical and Dental benefits with a generous employer contribution and additional employer paid Life, Disability and Vision coverage10% employer contribution to a 403(b) retirement account to help you save for the future!GENEROUS TIME OFF BENEFITSNo really, we mean generous :13 vacation days, 15 sick days, 10 paid holidays, 4 personal holidays, 3 winter holidays, and up to 5 paid days for continuing educationWhat makes GGRC so special?GGRC values diversity, we believe in creating an environment where people of all backgrounds can collaborate to find solutions to complex problems.
