National TV political talk show seeks assistant producer who eats, sleeps and dreams national conservative politics.

The number one primetime talk show on OAN Network is searching for an experienced producer to help lead the team. All applicants, must work well with others, meet daily deadlines, work well under pressure and perform the duties assigned by the host, in addition we are looking for someone who is news savvy, up to date on all political current events, creative, and has a hard work ethic. Knowledge of the operating system, ENPS is a major plus! As producer, you’ll take part in the every day make up of a 1 hour, high energy talk show. From assisting with story selection, to booking guests, and stacking of the show each day. Other duties will include, writing scripts, social media posts and taking the helm in the control room during filming. Experience in a newsroom setting is a must, this position is not for beginners or the faint of heart. This is a Monday thru Friday position 7am-3pm.

Qualifications:

Broadcast Journalism, Communications or related field

Television news-related experience

Working knowledge of Skype

Must be professionally flexible and have a positive attitude when change occurs

Ability to perform quality work in high pressure, daily deadlines

Understanding of national politics

Must possess a valid driver's License
