Accounting clerk

Description We are looking for a diligent Accounting Clerk to help manage our financial procedures. The ideal candidate will have a knack for numerical accuracy, a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, and excellent data entry skills. This position requires a professional with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.Responsibilities:

Perform basic bookkeeping and accounting duties.

Process transactions and perform auditing tasks.

Assist in maintaining records of all transactions, ledgers, and other financial records.

Assist in preparing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff.

Prepare bank deposits and manage distribution of petty cash.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, invoicing, and credit controls.

Comply with company’s financial policies and regulations.

Support the finance team in preparing budgets and financial statements.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Further education in Finance or Accounting would be a plus.

Proven experience in an accounting position.

Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of bookkeeping software.

Strong analytical abilities and aptitude for numbers.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Accurate data entry skills.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
