Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Loyalty Services)
Location: Columbia, SC 29210
Duration: 6-Month Assignment (Potential Temp-to-Perm)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM EST (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Training: 6 weeks, in-office for the entire duration
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join the Loyalty Services team. This role is the first point of contact for customers and focuses on retention, customer service, and selling the value of our client’s products and services.
You will create a positive customer experience through professionalism, empathy, and a deep understanding of the company's offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Support policyholders with insurance product information.
Handle inbound/outbound calls, assisting customers who may wish to cancel coverage.
Address service and claims issues, explain product benefits, and help retain clients.
Assist with premium collection (current and past due).
Provide detailed policy status updates.
Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to websites or apps.
Consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide feedback for process improvements and support organizational goals.
Exhibit professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-2 years in customer service and contact center environments. Previous retention or phone sales experience preferred.
Skills:
o Bilingual (English/Spanish) – verbal, written, and reading.
o Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to explain complex policies simply and remain calm under pressure.
o Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of database systems.
o Detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in time management.
Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
