Aircraft ServicerShemya Island, Alaska, USA Req #255Thursday, December 5, 2024ASRC Federal Communications is seeking an Aircraft Servicer for our ISS2 contract supporting our Air Force customer. This position is located on Earackson Air Station.This is a rotational position in which the selected employee will work a schedule with 3 months on-site, and 1 month off unpaid. While working on-site, housing is provided in the form of a dormitory facility. All meals are furnished through the cafeteria. Transportation to EAS from Anchorage, AK, is provided by government sponsored aircraft. General SummaryPerforms all duties in moving passengers and materials on and off the Island.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Take instructions from the Air Field Manager. Maintain and operate the airfield - A006, Aircraft Arrival/Departure Log Respond to aircraft. Respond to requests for aircraft refueling and de-fueling and flight line support equipment. Conduct capability forecasting. Conduct passenger services for EAS. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Analyze, diagnose, and use conventional digital multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, and hand tools. Oversee the operations of AGE during aircraft servicing Prepare equipment for storage and mobility deployment. Maintain vehicle and equipment records using automated maintenance data systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions. Provide dispatch service, including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations Operate forklifts, hoists, and cranes. Practice good housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage prevention, and safety at all times. Perform other duties as requested.Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Minimum of One (1) year of experience as an Aircraft servicer or similar duties.

MS Office

Ability to pass National Agency Check with Inquiries background check

Ability to speak, read, and write English.
