Conner has 17 manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and is #2 in the U.S. market share. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESImplement, maintain, and enforce the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). RequirementsDUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Assist the Quality Manager with day-to-day tasks based upon existing QMS
Assist in writing/updating procedures, work instructions, and other controlled documentation
Support Manufacturing by resolving Quality issues
Perform internal audits and attend external audits as needed
Assist in handling customer returns, completing root cause analyses, and driving pragmatic corrective and preventive actions
Train employees at various levels of the organization on relevant QMS topics
Aide in creating Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, and Control Plans
Responsible for customer PPAPs
Understand the importance of “do what you say”
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in Engineering desired, although a combination of education and directly related work experience will also be considered
1-3 years of Quality and/or Manufacturing Engineering
Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office required
Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical thinking
Experience with Flowcharting software
Working knowledge of ISO9000:2015 a plus
Lean/6σ experience a bonus
Ability to self-direct, multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Forklift certification is required, therefore prior forklift experience is a plus
Must be able to read a tape measure
