Estimation Specialist

AECOM is seeking an Estimation Specialist to be based in Fresno, CA. SUMMARY: The Estimation Specialist is responsible for developing accurate cost estimates for the California High-Speed Rail Authority’s Office of Program Delivery. The position involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze data, supporting estimates from the planning conceptual level to final design and construction. Additionally, the role supports the development of bi-annual Programmatic Business Plan capital cost estimates, Program Baselines, and Project Update Reports. The individual will also review contractor change order estimates and claims, providing independent cost estimates for reconciliation. Moreover, the role includes developing and implementing policies and procedures for programmatic cost estimating to ensure consistency and accuracy across all projects.RESPONSIBILITIES: Works in the development of all capital cost estimates for planning conceptual level to final design and construction cost estimatesFacilitates the development of information used to develop cost estimates with all internal and external stakeholdersSupports the development of the bi-annual Programmatic Business Plan capital cost estimates, Program Baselines and Project Update ReportsSupports the review of Contractor change order estimates / claims and prepare independent cost estimates for reconciliationDevelop policies and procedures for programmatic cost estimating
