Senior Water Resources Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer for our Denver office. The duties include but are not limited to the following:Provides project leadership in the areas of design, investigation, analysis, and construction of water management systems for Tailings Storage Facilities and multi-disciplinary mining projectsServe as lead engineer or discipline lead on mid- to large size projectsWork with existing and potential clients to provide long-term stormwater management solutions for mine waste facilitiesDevelop project proposals and work with mining business leader to support and grow the Mining practiceProvide direction to and mentoring to other technical staff in completing project tasksPerforms independent technical reviews of engineering reports and design and signs off on workMay be responsible for Project teams that include 5 or more members often representing multiple disciplines including subcontractor(s)Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering project, focusing on the stormwater management design of mine waste storage projectsProvide advice and consultation to client on engineering matters, including compliance with government laws and regulationsConduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and drainage/civil design
