2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
This position is responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs on building systems and equipment, including troubleshooting malfunctions, conducting preventative maintenance checks, and responding to repair requests, while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining accurate records of repairs and equipment condition; often requiring skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems. keeping production equipment running at optimal levels, preventative maintenance, and special project work. Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstands, follows, and enforces all established safety, health, and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practicesWork from blueprints, schematics and shop ordersTroubleshoot, diagnose and repair various machine and maintenance problems using available technologyAbility to troubleshoot equipment and building electrical systemsAbility to troubleshoot and repair machines with rotating componentsOperate drill press, grinder, welding and other maintenance equipment to fabricate or repair partsAbility to troubleshoot / diagnose and working knowledge of programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)Perform troubleshooting on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic powered, and electronically controlled equipmentAbility to use precision measuring equipment and electrical testing instruments associated with a manufacturing settingPerform routine preventative maintenance functions per scheduleAbility to maintain computer-based machine repair and PM records systemAll other duties as assigned by manager
