Assistant Controller
Description We are searching for a skilled Assistant Controller to join our team located in Livonia, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for managing full cycle accounting processes, preparing financial statements, and leading audits. You will also be tasked with supervising a team and taking part in process improvement and integration initiatives. Responsibilities: Oversee a team, ensuring effective and efficient operations. Carry out full cycle accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Lead audit compliance processes to maintain high standards of financial integrity. Engage in the preparation of regular financial statements. Utilize strong Excel skills for financial data management and reporting. Be involved in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting procedures. Contribute to acquisition integration efforts, supporting organizational growth. Handle month-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial records. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or related financial field Proficiency in Auditing, with a proven track record of managing audits and ensuring compliance Extensive knowledge and experience in Full Cycle Accounting, including experience with all financial statements Demonstrated experience in Acquisition Integration, with the ability to handle financial implications of acquisitions Prior experience in Public Accounting, preferably with a focus on corporate finance Ability to manage Month End Close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Strong knowledge of Audit Compliance, with the ability to maintain adherence to all financial regulations and standards Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
