Moving Company Hiring Driver Movers

Short Moves is hiring drivers.

Ideal candidates should have:

- At least 1 year experience driving and packing 26' box trucks for local moving.

- Great customer service skills to communicate with customers throughout their move.

- Be in great physical shape to lift and move furniture up and down stairs.

- Have general knowledge of furniture disassembly and reassembly

- Packing experience is a plus as well as any moving company experience.

- Availability for Monday through Saturdays

Short Moves started in St. Pete in 1990, here's a few of the perks of working here:

-Starting pay for drivers is $21/hour with our top pay at $23/hour

-Pay time goes from clock-in to clock-out

-Short Moves pays a vacation pay bonus every 6 months after your first year.

-Tips are common, we are a business continually built on repeat and referral customers.

-Income is W4 full time employee with FICA employer matching Social Security and Medicare

-With our in-house consignment store we have other opportunities for income.

Applications are taken in person at our office location.

9am-4pm Weekdays, or 10am-12pm on Saturdays.
