Renovation Project Manager
We are looking for a hard-working, hands-on field supervisor to manage the day-to-day field operations and employees on their assigned projects. The field supervisor’s responsibilities include gathering supplies as necessary for the project at hand, scheduling or delivering equipment and personnel to job sites as needed, and providing direction/feedback to our field staff and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met and, where possible, exceeded.
To be successful as a field supervisor, you should have strong time management, organization, communication and problem solving skills. An outstanding field supervisor should be able to manage multiple projects concurrently while building good working relationships with both our customers and our tradespersons.
This position requires daily travel within the Twin Cities metro area. Successful candidates will have their own reliable, insured vehicle and be willing to use it for work purposes (mileage reimbursement is provided at established rates). Successful candidates will also have a good driving record and be willing to drive company trucks when required to transport personnel.
Field Supervisor Responsibilities:
Liaising with the customers and operations team to ensure that project tasks are clearly understood before work begins.
Purchasing materials and scheduling tasks for the project as needed.
Acting as the main point of communication between the field team and the office.
Providing leadership to on-site staff, sub-contractors, and other parties.
Ensuring that work is being performed in a manner that is safe for both our workers and the property itself.
Reviewing project progress to ensure that deadlines are met.
Keeping task progress updated in our job tracking system.
Completing punch list items as needed.
Participating in “all hands on deck” scenarios as needed.
Participating in on-going problem solving and practicing continuous improvement
Inspire Renovation is a fast-paced, team oriented organization. We specialize in residential property turns and flips, primarily for investor-owned homes. Our customers are a relatively stable, consistent group and the homes we work in are predominantly vacant.
