If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.What you will doSupport customer experience events and marketing programs for customer and dealer visits to the Volvo Trucks Customer Experience Center, helping to ensure that the program creates an engaging and immersive brand experience to create a deeper connection with customers or dealers with the Volvo Trucks brand.The internship role provides students with the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a customer focused environment, and to support/promote the graduate’s career goals through interaction with marketing and manufacturing professionals. Interns participate in professional activities for the Volvo Customer Center by working on practical, innovative and important projects. The internship allows student to integrate knowledge and skills in a manner that is mutually beneficial to the student and Volvo Trucks.What’s in it for you?
Assist the Volvo Customer Center team in developing and executing successful customer visits or special events.
Schedule and facilitate discovery calls with Volvo Trucks dealer and field representatives to secure a thorough understanding of the customer’s needs and expectations to create customized program agendas that best meet customers’ needs and expectations.
Support dealers as needed with travel logistics, accommodations and other requests.
Determine and secure commercial crew resources requirements across departments as needed in advance to support customer visits.
Assist in communicating Volvo Trucks’ value proposition through products and services presentations, displays, and ride & drives.
Utilize CRM and online booking tools to track visitor activities and KPIs.
Facilitate visitor and/or dealer communications before and after events.
Assist in securing, adapting and setting up materials as needed to support visitors, including commemorative or customized gift items.
Assist in staffing Volvo Trucks Customer Center brand shop, including tracking brand store transactions.
Support special marketing events or internal meetings as needed.
Support & maintain confidentially for internal planning, executive meetings and future project introductions as required.
Perform all other duties assigned.

Minimum Education Requirements:
Experience in project management, marketing communications, event management, and marketing administrative support
Applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree Marketing, Graphic Design or Communications at an accredited school
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
Applicants must have finished at least 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship

For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
