Assistant Nursing Professor, PMHNP - Rockhurst University

The PMHNP Nursing Assistant Professor will prepare course outline and syllabus in collaboration with the course lead and track coordinator, develop course and lesson plans, and engage in the selection of textbook and other teaching aids necessary to the instruction of courses. Conduct course instruction for courses in the nursing curriculum at the higher education level utilizing diverse teaching strategies. Teach pertinent course subject matter using lectures, demonstrations, class discussions, and other appropriate modes of educational delivery in the face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid environment. Serve as an academic advisor/mentor to students and foster their personal and professional development. Submit student progress reports and attendance to the program director and advisor and discuss any student needs that may require directed attention or remediation plans.The successful candidate will be required to maintain clinical currency.
