Sales Manager for Government Contracts

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
2+ years experience in a comparable sales role for Government contracting
Access (or can gain access) to Military Installations
Working Knowledge of Sam.Gov
A valid driver's license
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for growing an extensive conduit of business through outbound prospecting, creative thinking, and strategically navigating government contracts within SAM.GOV
Independently contact prospective customers
Educate customers and clients on service lines, solutions, pricing, and availability
Thorough understanding of government contracting & contracts
Collaborate and maintain relationships with point of contacts at each Military Installation
Job Description:
Blue Sky Renovations of NWF, seeks a highly motivated, results-driven outside Sales Person. The right candidate will have and maintain an understanding of government contracts. Will utilize SAM.GOV to locate and apply for related industry contracts. Work closely with the owner to meet potential deadlines and help prepare estimates. Create a working record of contacts made and all other pertinent information and share with owners. Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel at each installation and department. Grow sales while using a variety of available communication channels to maximize revenue. You will report to the owners on a weekly basis on what Military Installations and divisions you have contacted and are currently working as well as what leads you are following up on.
